All proceeds from purchases of "Lines of Light" will be contributed to the making of the documentary, "Miché Fambro: Upside Down and Backwards". His wife, Wendy Fambro, is hard at work on a film about her late husband, an amazing musician and performer. Wendy says it's "a film dedicated to all those who strive to live life as their most authentic self - based on the life of Miché Fambro."

Further donations can be made, and the film's progress can be tracked at www.michemovie.com

About Lines of Light

"Lines of Light" captures a snapshot in time when Miché was performing with his band, the Anglos. You will find on this recording his fantastic electric guitar playing and, on "We're Lost", some of his early use of nylon string guitar.

I met Miché (aka Mick) at Buzzo's music store in Geneseo NY in the mid-80s. I must have given him a cassette of songs and soon, we began co-writing and arranging my songs in a project that became, "Lines of Light". It was released only on cassette in 1989.  My first band mates, Dave Pivnik (bass) and Bill Zules (drums) are featured on this record. I still hear from people who tell me they loved the album. I'm so happy to finally share it now in support of the documentary.

Mick was my friend. He believed in me and encouraged me when I was down. Mick was a generous teacher. He opened my mind and my ears to the possibilities; he said, "Let's put Annie's voice in different and unexpected places." Mick worked harder than anyone I know at his craft. Through every success and disappointment encountered, he stayed true to his beautiful talent.

“Lines of Light” is dedicated to Mick's memory and to his family as they keep his light shining ever bright.
